Strategic Planning

Having an effective and robust strategic plan is critical to the success of any Aboriginal organisation and for non-Indigenous entities with core Aboriginal business.

We can assist you in developing a strategic plan by engaging appropriate stakeholders to lead and ensure alignment with priorities, goals, funding requirements of the relevant Aboriginal communities.

Community Engagement

Our team has considerable experience collaborating with local Aboriginal communities and participating in Aboriginal initiatives at both state and national levels. These projects have involved culturally appropriate and respectful engagement with a broad range of stakeholders.

The team possesses expertise in cultural protocols, communication, deep listening, relationship and trust building, supporting Aboriginal leadership, co-design principles, and privileging Aboriginal perspectives - critical to effective community engagement and achievement of your project’s outcomes.

Research & Evaluation

We apply both Aboriginal and non-Indigenous research methodologies and evaluation techniques to any research projects you may wish to commission with an Aboriginal lens. Our specific research specialisations include Indigenous yearning research methodologies and participatory action research and learning.

One of our core research principles is the preservation of data sovereignty. We collaborate with a network of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal researchers in research institutes, the university sector and private enterprise.

Policy Development

We specialise in change management and policy development for Aboriginal community organisations and non-Aboriginal programs. Our services include creating policies across governance, strategic Planning, HR, IT, OHS, finance, and operations to support fairness, compliance, and safety. We help organisations efficiently address change management and policy requirements.

Submission and Report Writing

The team is highly experienced in writing submissions and reports for stakeholders, including annual reports, position statements, action plans, government submissions, marketing plans, and funding grant applications for Aboriginal community, health, education, and arts projects.

We help organisations build their profile, launch new programs, and meet compliance requirements with effective and professional writing based on our expertise in Aboriginal ways of doing business and co-design approaches.

Workplace Investigation

Australian workplaces may be culturally unsafe environments for Aboriginal employees due to factors such as ongoing colonialism, differing cultural values, racism and discrimination, exclusion and the undervaluing of Aboriginal rights and knowledge. These factors may contribute to poor wellbeing, dissatisfaction, conflict and isolation for Aboriginal employees.

Our team offers culturally safe, evidence-based, fair, and procedurally sound independent investigations to resolve workplace disputes and provide actionable recommendations.

We acknowledge the unceded sovereign Nations of Aboriginal peoples on whose land we live and work, and we honour our Elders—past and present. Living on colonised land, we recognise the strength and resilience of Aboriginal peoples, as well as the ongoing spiritual and cultural importance of the earth, oceans, stars, skies and all living beings central to our creation stories. Our ancestors continue to guide us as we navigate living between two worlds.
