Indigenu is an Aboriginal family-owned Adelaide based business which is proud to offer a range of Aboriginal inspired food using herbs, spices and plants found in various regions of Australia. We have created fusion cuisine by integrating bush tucker with classic and contemporary recipes and tastes.

For your next function, why don’t you do something a little different – appetiser size food, including savoury (damper, kangaroo, chicken and wild lime) and sweet food (cakes, muffins, tarts) infused with Aboriginal spices such as mountain pepper berry, wattle seed, lemon myrtle, quandong, finger lime, bush tomato, and Davidson plum. The food is served in platters or lunch boxes, transported in bio-degradable containers, and delivered to your workplace or home. Perfect for that cocktail party with a difference.

What better way to celebrate Reconciliation and NAIDOC Week, or the launch of your RAP, or, in fact, any event, than to have an indigenous inspired tasting. It is a cost-effective way to go as the foods are sourced locally at the Adelaide Central Market. The produce is purchased within 48 hours of requirement, guaranteeing freshness.

Each platter serves about 10 people (four items of food per person) as morning or afternoon teas. We also supply individually packed lunch boxes upon request, and individually packaged bush tucker biscuits. Additionally, seasonal fruit platters are available to complement our platters. Our food choices are fresh and healthy and comply with government catering requirements. Just leave it to Indigenu.

Savoury or Sweet Platters – $79.50 (+GST) each.

Individual lunch boxes – $25.00 (+GST)

Seasonal fruit platters – $45.00(+GST)

High tea with sweet and/or savoury choices, transported and served on multi-tier bio-degradable cardboard plates. – $99.50 (+GST)

Bush tucker individually wrapped biscuit ($3 – $5.00)

Delivery $20 (within 5 kms) and $30 (5 – 15 kms)

Ingredients / Allergies

The products in our menu may contain common allergens or have traces of ( eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame seeds, gluten ).   Standard ingredients routinely include (fruit, vegetables, salt, pepper, mountain pepperberry, wattle seed, lemon myrtle, muntrie berry, flour, butter, sugar, cooking oil).

Environmental Policy

Wherever possible we endeavor to use recyclable/compostable catering trays.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will be charged for 100% of the catering cost if cancellation occurs on the same day that the catering is due to be delivered.  Customers will be charged 50% of the cost of the order if cancellation occurs less than 1 day prior to the scheduled delivery time.
